n this study, transiently expressed Las flagellin induced cell death in tobacco plants, but the induction was weaker than that caused by the flagellin of other bacteria.

How flagellin expressed in plant cells can be perceived by FLS2 receptor with binding domain outside the cell? Cited articles use purify flagellin infiltrated into leaves.
No comparison with flagellin from other species is presented here, and the experimental setup was different in other studies so such conclusions cannot be drown.
