Previous work on combining study of inclusive fitness and reciprocal cooperation

An earlier paper combining the study of inclusive fitness and reciprocal cooperation is Marshall and Rowe (2003) Journal of Theoretical Biology 222, 331-335. Interestingly Marshall and Rowe implicitly studied a negatively non-additive donation game (unlike the authors), see Marshall (2009), and consequently concluded that increased relatedness can select -against- retaliation against previous exploitation by a partner.
