I apologize if I missed it, but was whole body cortisol measured in this study? That seems to be a critical step to determine if MS-2222 is really "perceived" as stressful to the fish. After all, I avoid mayonnaise, but I don't become particularly stressed when a sandwich shop sneaks it into my food.

The difference in the various chemicals may only be the ability to detect the chemical, not stress per se.
