closeError in Figure 2B
Posted by F_Albrecht on 03 Apr 2020 at 13:55 GMT
Dear readers,
I regret that during the formatting process of this research article an error has occurred in the formatting of Figure 2B. Unfortunately, the diagram in Figure 2B is missing all graphs that were plotted into the figure. In the correct version, this diagram should depict the differences in time calibrations resulting from fossil calibration and molecular ND2 calibrations under models with various substitution rates. As it stands now in the published online version and in the respective PDF file, Figure 2B does not hold any information to the reader.
As PLOS ONE does unfortunately not provide authors with page proofs prior to publication, this error could not be recognized by the authors before publication. Although we submitted a correct figure in the requested file format to the journal, this error could not be foreseen by us and we apologize for any inconveniences resulting from this mistake.
PLOS ONE editorial staff informed us they are not able to correct formatting errors.
Therefore, please feel free to contact me as the corresponding author via e-mail to receive a correct version of Figure 2B.
Sincerely,
Frederik Albrecht
