Phylogenic relationship between pah1 and BcHOX8

In addition to the Podospora anserina pah1 gene [58], BcHOX8 is the second homeobox gene whose mutation affects hyphal branching

According to FUNGIpath (Grossetete, S., B. Labedan and O. Lespinet. 2010. BMC Genomics 11: 81), pah1 and BcHOX8 are orthologs. This relation is consistent with their common phenotype.
