Near idea!

... and it actually works!
Being naturally impatient, I used it with a minor modification: microwaving the gel (+H20, then H20-Coommassie, then H20) a small plastic bag. Turnaround some 5 min.
Decent backup option (e.g. if Instantblue solution happens to be finished) for many routine SDS-PAGE applications - which don't require pushing for the ultimate sensitivity or background reduction.
