What about females?

Great article and innovative methods. Congrats! One can only wonder what happens in the case of a female cuckoo? I noticed that the cuckoo dummies you used were all male phenotype, whereas females have extended barred underparts (i.e. the breast is not covered by grey feathers), and I guess females can be considered a greater threat then males. Anyway a good article to start the morning with!
