An excellent study. I doubt that conditioning has not been done on other experimental animals (rats, mice), but nevertheless, this manuscript belongs to those that clearly show that some of the "human" central nervous functions are reproducible even in "lower animals". I think, it is a matter of time & research effort till most of the CNS functions are reproduced.
