Thank you very much for this review. It confirms the problem but even more important it shows the lack of preparation of the industry and unions to protect those working in extreme heat. However, some solutions are available which are not just generic but innovative and convenient to apply. People who are interested should look around in Europe (Germany) or the USA where the development of solutions is way advanced compared to Australia. The only group who has picked up such solutions in Australia I am aware of are MS patients who suffer from heat stress at their workplaces. It surprises me that the occupational health sector has not picked up these solutions yet.
