closeCan´t figure out how the results are expressed

Hi. Many thanks for your interesting paper.
My question is about how the results are presented.
I mean, when I run the plugin, an excel spreadsheet appears. This spreadsheet has ten columns. The second column is labeled "Label," the third "Area," and columns four and five are labeled "X" and "Y." Then comes "Perim....etc."
207 organisms....
I'm stumped as to how to calculate the number of Collembola. I counted 207 organisms in the second array of images....
Could you please explain this to me?

Hi,
The spreadsheets that are generated provide one line per measeured particles. If you have 3 pictures for a population of about 100 individuals, you will have about 300 lines in your spreadsheet.
To compute the number of counted collembola, you can use a pivot table in the spreadsheet
But to compute the number of Collembola automatically on numerous spreadsheets, we developped some R code to 1) import the spreadsheets, 2) filter the particlules (to remove the particles that are too small or too large or with a strange shape) 3) count the numer of particles per image (slice) and 4) give a mean number averaged over the different pictures.
Let me know if you want me to share our R code.
