Hi, as I have read through your journal, you mentioned that there are regions nearby that has similar niches that the G. pyrenaicus use to thrive. However, they cannot go across due to the areas in between is not fit for their lifestyle, therefore they wouldn't be able to survive while trying to migrate.
What about using the same concept of, the least painful way possible, by somehow tranquilizing the G. pyrenaicus while having a pseudo "atmosphere" they require to survive in equipped (cold-temperature and food resources, water, vice versa) to put them into while transferring them to the other potential locations?
Since their current locations is at risk of increasing temperature over time. Just thought I'd bring it up.
