Unfortunate absence of NEK10

The omission of NEK10 is unfortunate, as full length sequences with kinase domains do exist. We have found highly likely NEK10 homologs in organisms as diverse as C. elegans and Nematostella, and it may be that careful analysis would show and even deeper history. Contrary to a later statement, NEK10 has a non-kinase but conserved N-terminal domain, in contrast to other metazoan NEKs.
