Reactogenicity

This is very interesting although it has been known for a long time that whole virus flu vaccines are quite cross-protective. The problem, however, is to translate these findings into human vaccines. Whole virus flu vaccines are highly reactogenic and usually don't make it through safety testing. That is the reason why we have split vaccines.
