New paper from Sibley&Wood with similar results to ours. They found that shRNAs targeting LRRK2 G2019S showed varying specificity, and they further improved specificity using second-site mismatches. Have a look - JS

Importantly our results with the G201S mutation follow similar patterns to those reported in another recently published PLoS One manuscript from James Sutherland's lab. Nice piece of work and it's great to see that G2019S alignment at P4 is effective in a different miR-30 based hairpin structure and using an alternative model system from the one we used
