closeObjection to claim of NOVELTY that PTP1B is localised to the mitochondria in mammalian cells

In the study by Feuller et al. the introduction states that "we report the following novel findings regarding PTP1B?s tail-anchor-mediated targeting to the ER and mitochondria and its role in mitochondrial signaling: (1) Endogenous
PTP1B localizes to the mitochondria in multiple mammalian cell lines" .
The publication by DS O?Donovan, S MacFhearraigh, J Whitfield, LB Swigart, GI Evan and MM Mc Gee. Sequential Cdk1 and Plk1 phosphorylation of Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 1B promotes mitotic cell death. Cell Death and Disease 2013 Jan 24;4:e468) that clearly indicates that "PTP1B is localised at the ER and mitochondrion in
mammalian CML cells and undergoes phosphorylation following treatment with Taxol and Nocodazole"
I object to the claim of "novelty" made by Fueller et al., and that the highly relevant publication by O'Donovan was not referred to or cited by the authors.
