Jurkat clone A2

It may be noteworthy that the Jurkat clone A2 harbors a LTR-Tat-IRES-GFP genome and that the latent HIV promoter appears relatively unresponsive to Tat stimulation, suggesting that the blockage of transcription in this clone lies primarily at the level of transcription initiation (Jordan et al.; EMBO J 22: 1868–1877. 2003).
