closeHIIT Cadence

I'd like to know at what cadence the 30s HIIT bouts were executed.
The HIIT protocol is using pretty high wattage for untrained subjects.

The cycling was performed on a Lode Cycle Ergometer. You are correct that the workload is high and is challenging for the participants. As the participants approach each interval they are instructed to increase their cadence to 100-120 RPM. They struggle initially, but can eventually complete each 30 second interval. As you can see by their heart rates, they are at near maximum effort during each interval.
