Erratum

Diatom names "Achnanthes cf. groenlandica", and "Achnanthes cf. pseudogroenlandica var. phinneyi" are incorrect. The correct names are "Achnanthes cf. groenlandica var. phinneyi" and "Achnanthes cf. pseudogroenlandica". This error must have been our overlooking and we apologize for that.

Figure 4 a-e shows "Achnanthes cf. groenlandica var. phinneyi" (correct) and not "Achnanthes cf. pseudogroenlandica var. phinneyi" (incorrect).

As the further outcome of this error, authorities in Table 2 are also incorrect. Correct version is:

"Achnanthes cf. groenlandica var. phinneyi McIntire & Reimer"
"Achnanthes cf. pseudogroenlandica Hendey"
