Competing Interests

The AGK cell line is under license by the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Biosciences and is the exclusive ownership of SBC Biotech, Taiwan, ROC. The cell line is not available to outside researchers but this restriction will not influence anyone's ability to reproduce the findings of this study as other IPNV-permissive cell lines can be used to (e.g. CHSE or RTG-2 cells) followed by post-culture concentration procedures (e.g. R.). Roberts (ed.) Fish Pathology 3rd Edition, W.B. Saunders, London, 2001. P220) if needed. This has been highlighted in the Competing Interest statement as well as in the manuscript.
