Competing Interests
A US provisional patent application entitled “Methods and biomarkers for detection of hematological cancers” (61824278/INVEN-33229/US-1/PRO) has been filed covering the investigated genes as biomarkers for detection and monitoring of hematological cancer. GEL and EBS are listed as two of the inventors. The authors confirm that this does not alter adherence to all PLOS ONE policies on sharing data and materials.
