Competing Interests
Dr. Schmitz and Dr. Famulok are co-owners of a patent on small molecule cytohesin inhibitors entitled “Use of cytohesin inhibitors for chemically inducing longevity” (WO2008058995, US 20100048594). Dr. Famulok is co-inventor on a patent application entitled “Cytohesin inhibitors” (European Patent Application EP2286808 (WO2006053903). This does not alter the authors' adherence to all the PLoS ONE policies on sharing data and materials.
