The authors have the following interest. All authors are employees of QuantiBact A/S, which has exclusive license to use TINA modified oligonucleotides for human diagnostics and WO 2009/112032 A1 owned by QuantiBact A/S covers use of TINA molecules for commercial PCR assays. QuantiBact A/S seeks to make the use and design of TINA modified oligonucleotides known broadly within the scientific community. There are no further patents or products in development or marketed products to declare.
