Competing Interests
The human anti-LINGO-1 monoclonal antibody was provided by Novartis Inc., Basel, Switzerland, independently of funding. However, the authors' results are unbiased. The LINGO-1 antibody is in a state of being patented (WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/058736). Author Adrian Walmsley is also employed by Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research. This does not alter the authors' adherence to all the PLoS ONE policies on sharing data and materials.
