In the Introduction section, there is an error in the first sentence of the ninth paragraph. The correct sentence is: Here, we use state-space models to characterize and understand long-term trends, cycles and seasonality in historic station rainfall, minimum and maximum temperatures, regional oceanic (IOD) and hemispheric atmospheric (SOI) oscillations and remotely sensed vegetation data, indexed by the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) in the Greater Mara-Serengeti Ecosystem of Kenya and Tanzania (Fig DP in S1 File).
