Significant cardiomyocyte hypertrophy (A) and interstitial fibrosis (B) were induced by TAC, whereas the density of endocardial capillaries was mildly decreased (C). (D) Infiltration of CD45 positive leukocytes was apparent after TAC, although this did not reach statistical significance in Malat-1 KO mice.
