Holographic imaging of pathogenic bacterial colonies using lens-free microscopy

Bacterial colonies on thin-layer cultures with agarose pads and BHI medium were imaged using a lens-free microscope. Each image produces holographic patterns directly related to the morphotypical properties of each colony, as can be seen in this 107x107 μm close-up of an Enterococcus faecium hologram. Paquin et al. (2022)
