Growth of Blastocystis sp.

Controlled temperature (37°C) and thermal stress temperatures (39°C and 41°C) were used. (A) Subtype 1 did not show significant growth difference between control and thermal stressed isolates. (B) Subtype 3 and (C) Subtype 5 which thermal stressed at 41°C showed significantly higher growth compared to isolate at 37°C.
