closeA shameful act

Regretfully I have to withdraw my support for the journal as a reviewer. Also to bring this shameful incident to the attention of my academic colleagues and students who might consider submitting their work for publication at PLOS ONE.

I completely agree! The article talks about "the proper design [of the hand] by the Creator for dexterous performance of numerous functions following the evolutionary remodeling of the ancestral hand for millions of years."
I find this extremely offensive because the implication is that Jesus descended from non-human primates. Everyone, however, knows that the Creator created humans in His own image.
I am glad that PLoSONE editors retracted the article immediately before it did any further damage to the proper scientific understanding of the origin of different species.

You must be a troll. There is no other explanation for writing such nonsense.

Ever heard of sarcasm? It's good. It highlights the absurdity of the position you are criticizing. But since it is missed, let me make it clear that the intended target of my criticism is not your decision but the authors' religious superstition.
