Referee 2's review:
This is an interesting manuscript demonstrating that efficient electroporation of cells in the SVZ that resemble radial glial cells is possible even at postnatal ages. Similar approaches have so far only employed to developing embryos. The electroporation method will greatly facilitate the study of neurogenesis in the SVZ and provides great advantages compared to virus based systems because simple plasmid vectors can be electroporated.
