Interesting article that documents clinic visits which we know are limited in scope and do not represent the true prevalence or characteristics of sexual violence; however within the references left off, a larger population-based study as a comparison might have helped to compare results but was not referenced.

Your username is the same as one of the authors listed in this reference. Also, the article you critically wanted referenced was very recently published and I'm not sure how these authors could have referenced it. It is troubling that you would not clarify your competing interests. It is inappropriate to make a comment in a scientific discussion without clarifying that your personal interested are intertwined with your criticism. We are all in this together. I'm reporting this.
