DATA DOES NOT SUPPORT CONCLUSIONS

Thank you for this interesting study showing SARS-CoV-2 positivity rates associated with circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels. To suggest that Vitamin D supplementation would reduce risk of contracting Covid-19 is not supported by your data. I would suggest that circulating Vitamin D is less in Covid-19 patients as they are more likely to have spent more time indoors and therefore at greater risk of contracting the disease.
