Clarification of Table 1

A reader told us he was confused about the 9 treatments in Table 1 so this note is meant to clarify the table. The main point of this table is that the Cry1C residue from Cry1C resistant individuals that had ingested Cry1C was still toxic. The 9 treatments (plus the control) represent extracts from CryC resistant larvae or buffers. Perhaps it might have been clearer if we would have worded the first 3 treatments by removing "Cry1C-R on" and just started with the word "Extract". Hope this helps.
