Restrictions on lion hunting may also reduce tolerance for the species among communities where local people benefit from trophy hunting, and may reduce funds available for anti-poaching.

This paper features no primary or secondary research on human-animal conflict. Statements such as this should be limited to a discussion section and properly referenced, rather than featuring in the abstract.
Note again the continued emphasis on a lion hunting ban, while no such proposal exists or is practical.
