Botryotinia fuckeliana maintains a cluster of two of the genes, while the closely related Sclerotinia sclerotiorum lacks clustering entirely.

As noted, the data informing figure 1 appear to have been transposed for Botryotinia and Stagonospora. This eliminates the observation of differential clustering between these two related species. However, it strengthens the hypothesis of gradual loss of clustering leading to Sordariomycetes.
