Word ./. LaTeX

I do not use formulas but believe LaTeX is superior in assembling bibliographies and proper quoting of academic references.

Similarly, for a 30 minute long article, I would choose Word (if I were not too much steeped in old habits) since
the setup etc is faster. However for longer publications, LaTeX never crashes (something I am too
tired to check again with Word) and without fail creates impeccable table of contents, indides, and bibliographies.

Finally, the little \import command keeps the files small and the overall research well-structured. One need not scroll through hundreds of pages to find the part one wants to change.

A short text might not be the best way to compare productivity.
