Error needs to be corrected

I emailed the corresponding author in December 2017 as follows:

"The abstract and page 3 of the text refer to 15,981 all-cause deaths among 272,216 people in the four studies used in the low-carb meta-anaysis. If you add up all-cause deaths for the same four studies in Table 1, the deaths come to 24,659."

Noto replied: "Dear Zoe, Thank you for correcting our math. The result of meta-analysis, however, is not to be affected at all."

The paper needs to be corrected and it needs to be shown that the meta-analysis is unaffected.
