Article on urging study on persistence of new species

After posting my comment, I came across an article by Rosenblum et al. on how speciation may occur at an extremely high rate (much like Mallet's "Speciation is easy!") but that most new species cannot persist. The authors urge study of what it takes for species to persist; it seems that the Turner et al. paper is a great step in that direction.
