Testosterone and pro social behavior.

The relations you found between testosterone level and generosity in the games may be interpreted as prosocial behavior by the high-T men. In the friendly setting of the lab room, high-T men are likely to act in a leader-like way, bringing the group to a mutually satisfactory outcome. Hence they propose higher offers and are willing to accept smaller payment themselves.
