I have been breeding australian shepherds for 20 years. My own record keeping of all my dogs, dogs produced and also close relatives to them, has many and very strong parallels to support the research material provided in this article.

Thank you for communicating your observations on your Australian Shepherds. From our continuing work in this area we are expecting similar results with regard to neutering in some breeds and different results with other breeds. These breed-specific differences will occur with both joint disorders and cancers.
