Competing Interests

Andrew Gallagher is Chief Operating Officer at Phynova, the developers of Reducose. He was involved in the development of the product but was not involved in the collection, analysis and interpretation of data. Phynova did not fund the study. The funder did not provide salaries support in the form of salaries for any of the authors. The funding provided by the grant was simply to write the protocol and supervise the data collection and data interpretation and write the paper. The funding was paid into the research funds at the University of Southampton and was not used to pay any direct salary or to make any personal payments to any of the Southampton University affiliated authors.
