Competing Interests
Prof Lofaso and Dr Prigent were consultants to RESMED for an evaluation of home ventilators in different clinical conditions. Their University (University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Versailles, France) received 50 000 euros in January 2014 for this work.
