Evidence of Ebola in West Africa from the past

The study of past suspected Lassa cases which you propose has already been conducted in relation to Sierra Leone cases from 2006-2008.
It found evidence of Ebola Zaire and Marburg.
It's no surprise to see it Guinea now. The real surprise is that it didn't cause an outbreak earlier. One wonders how many cases of Ebola have been missed over the years.
