This image presents an example of the secondary screen conducted in this study, where RNAi lines for the top 100 primary screen hits were tested for their ability to enhance dRas-V12 mediated overgrowth in the Drosophila adult eye. The image shows scanning electron micrographs of a wild-type Drosophila adult eye (left) and an ey-GAL4-driven dRas-V12 + Tsp29Fb-RNAi expressing Drosophila adult eye (right) showing extensive overgrowth. Samples were prepared and imaged by Dr Jan Manent on a JCM-6000 NeoScope scanning electron microscope at the La Trobe University LIMS Bioimaging Facility.
