Zebrafish brain networks during epileptic seizures

Epileptic seizures are hypersynchronous states disrupting normal brain function unfolding across brain networks. We can now image the network wide changes in brain dynamics using light sheet imaging in the larval zebrafish brain. Combined with computational modelling, this gives us a powerful tool to investigate the connectivity changes that allow these abnormal seizure states to emerge.
