Figure 2 as originally published contains an error in panel A. Rather than plotting the left and right arms of each chromosome side by side, they were inadvertently plotted on the same axis, such that genes located the same distance from the left end of each chromosome arm would appear in the same location of the graph. This error occurred only in the graph; the analyses of clusters, the number of tandem duplications, and the simulations of gene distributions described in the text are accurate.
