Excellent article, just 2 minor remarks:
1. Quote: "logical fallacy that anything natural is good, and anything unnatural is bad": it is not a logical fallacy, it could be true in an imaginable ideal world; it's an empirical fallacy :-)
2. Quote: "almost everyone wants the same outcome: a reliable, sustainable, equitable supply of nutritious food". No: pls see why many people/companies have an interest in pushing the so-called "organic" food, withount caring for anything/anyone else: academicsreview.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Academics-Review_Organic-Marketing-Report1.pdf
