closeWhat feedback did you get from practicing this course?

If I understand well, this new course format was taught for the first time this year.
How did the students react? Did they like it?
And are they better at "thinking scientifically" and "understanding genetics"?
Finally, how easy or difficult was it for the teachers to adapt?

Hi marcrr,
The revised course described in the first part of my article was implemented this year. Although it was well received by the students, I don't have any good measures of improvements in thinking scientifically and understanding genetics. That's largely because our program lacks the resources needed to properly evaluate the effects of what we hope are improvements.
Unfortunately, some of the senior faculty in our program are having a hard time adapting to the changes, and there's pressure to return to the old ways of teaching.
