Scitable as an alternative textbook

I agree with the need to reform and revitalize genetics curriculum. I ditched 3-point crosses a long time ago and I'm on the verge of cutting pedigree analysis.
The last time I taught genetics I did not assign a textbook. Instead I used Scitable. This free, On-line resource from Nature is quite good and covers all topics found in a traditional genetics text along with some very current and advanced topics. The topics can be arranged in any order facilitating a non-traditional progression like the one the author suggests.
