Regular moist snuff dipping does not affect endurance exercise performance

Mean changes in (a) oxygen uptake (VO2), (b) heart rate (HR), and (c) blood pressure (BP) during submaximal work rate 1: 50%, 2: 60%, 3: 70% and 4: 80% of individual VO2max. Open symbols indicate pre- and solid symbols indicate post-SCP (snuff cessation period). There were significant differences in mean value of HR and BP between pre- to post-SCP conditions (ANOVA). VO2 was unchanged.
