Tri-lineage differentiation capacities of BM-MSCs upon exposure to albumin.
BM-MSCs were incubated with or without HSA for 24 h prior to induction of differentiation. Osteogenic differentiation was evidenced by Alizarin Red staining of mineralization (top panels) at day 21. Oil droplet stained by Oil-Red-O revealed adipogenic differentiation (middle panels) at day 14. Chondrogenic differentiation was demonstrated by toluidine blue staining of extracellular matrix formation (bottom panels) at day 14.
